Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-07
This site (the "Site") is operated in connection with AccessibleDocs Kit ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. We built this Site as a static website with no user accounts and no server-side database of your personal data.
Information we collect
- Purchase information. When you buy AccessibleDocs Kit, checkout is processed entirely by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy, or Stripe if configured as an alternative). We do not collect or store your card details — the payment provider handles that under its own privacy policy.
- Email list signups. If you submit the "free EAA deadline checklist" form on our tool pages, your email address is sent to our email service provider (e.g. Buttondown, MailerLite, or Formspree — see our README for the specific provider in use) so we can send you the checklist and occasional related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
- Free tool usage. The accessibility statement generator and EAA checker run entirely in your browser. The information you type into those forms (company name, website URL, quiz answers, etc.) is not sent to our servers — it stays on your device and is used only to generate the output shown to you.
- Analytics. We may use privacy-focused analytics (e.g. Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — page views, referrers, and approximate location. These tools are configured to avoid cookies and do not track you individually across sites. See the site's page source for which analytics provider, if any, is currently active.
How we use information
We use the information above to: fulfill your purchase, deliver the product you paid for, send the free checklist you requested, respond to support requests, and understand aggregate site usage to improve the Site.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers necessary to run the Site and fulfill orders: our payment/checkout provider, our email service provider (if you sign up), and our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
Purchase records are retained by our payment provider per their retention policy and applicable tax/accounting requirements. Email list entries are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and applicable US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@accessibledocskit.com.
Cookies
This Site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. If an analytics provider is active, it is configured for cookieless or first-party, privacy-preserving measurement — see the "ANALYTICS PLACEHOLDER" comment in the page source of any page for the specific configuration.
Children's privacy
This Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
